Panel - The Cloud Tipping Point
For the first time, more than 50% of organizations have chosen cloud as the platform of choice.  Every organization reaches a technology tipping point.  New systems and processes work better and make more financial sense than existing ones.   We are at a cloud tipping point—a time when organizations are opting to be cloud forward or cloud first.

In this session we’ll discuss the organizational shift to cloud as well as 5 ways that visionary IT organizations can become strategic partners in this time of transition.

The move to a cloud forward state goes well beyond the replacement of aging systems and traditional refresh cycles.  The shift to cloud has become as much about technology and culture as it has about innovation.

In fact, for some organizations the shift to cloud has also become cultural. Dev Ops and Lines of Business have a strong voice in cloud selection and procurement. So what does the term cloud first mean and why now?

We’ll also explore how a Dev Ops philosophy is leading the charge in a Cloud First world.

So if DevOps is driving this cultural shift and Lines are Business are flexing their IT Procurement muscles where does this leave central IT?  It’s clear that moving to a cloud- first world changes just about everything.  How can your IT team navigate the change?

Forward thinking IT firms are shifting from being a builders of computing infrastructure to being brokers of cloud services.

We’ll tell you how these firms are finding balance and staying relevant.
